A NEW ATTITUDE FOR THE MINISTRY
Luke 17:1:10

I think our world experiences on a daily basics, reminds us that man's attitude is in dire need of a change. The message today/ the selected text finds the Attitude problem among the disciples (Apostle of Jesus Christ).
The ministry in Jesus Christ is based on Attitude towards obligations, towards others and towards GOD. Therefore, we need to consider three points in regards to a NEW Attitude, for the ministry in Christ Jesus.
WE NEED TO

I. Counteract Sin toward men

2. Have the right kind of Faith
|

3. Give Humble Service
|

Jesus teaching about obligations toward men and God (vv. 1-4).
He (highlights) the reality of life, offenses will come to the believers. But one's attitude toward man during these offenses must be a new attitude. Because the old or natural demeanor about men will not be accepted by the Master. All non-compliance to Attitude, change leads and will ultimately end in destruction of the believer Spiritual Growth.
Note: (Verse 3)
Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him;
and if he repent, forgive him. This rebuke is not judgmental but love; It's in the ministry.
To Counteract Sin the believer must accept the reality that those who are followers of Jesus Christ has an obligation, to never cause others to sin, regardless of how they treat you. Counteract, through the right attitude responding by forgiveness. Not limited tolerance with hidden agendas, Take heed to yourselves. It would be better for a man to drown with a millstone tied around his neck than to bring Spiritual harm or scandal, any act or Attitude that will cause others to sin because of a reacting attitude.
Counteract Sin, is also found in the rebuke of a brother if he sins, and if he repents, he is to be forgiven, even if he repeats the offense in trying to correct his sin (seven times) in a day denote a completeness as often as it happens.
In Jesus teaching that His followers had a responsibility toward man to Counteract Sin, He also taught that they had responsibility toward God. The first responsibility is to have FAITH, when the believer Attitude, is placed in the wrong place or person there will always be a void-ness and desire for more Faith (v.5) (v.6) Jesus answered their Faith increase request with a statement of their present Faith status.
They need not more Faith, but rather the right kind of Faith. The right kind of Faith comes with the new attitude in ministry. Their Faith was focused in much/ness, rather than Meekness. The kind of Faith is always found in the believer, with the new Attitude. The Right Attitude James 2:15:18, "The believer never need more faith, but the right kin of faith (Romans 10:17)
The disciples Second Responsibility toward God, and the Third point, in today’s message.
They were to give Humble Service, in the ministry of Jesus Christ. They should not expect special praise for doing thing that was expected of them Romans 12:1-2.
A servant have certain responsibilities, which they are to fulfil in humility and to have the Attitude (Achreioi) unworthy goo for nothing servants. Jesus is our present - Perfect Example: Philippians 2:5-8.
I call you to a challenge today to check your Attitude toward Go, Your Faith an service in the ministry of Jesus Christ. Are you benefiting from the cleansing power in HIS BLOOD? Now is the right time to have an ATTITUDE change.
