Who Can You Trust? Text: Micah 7:5 Trust ye not in a friend, put ye not confidence in a guide: keep the doors of thy mouth from her that lieth in thy bosom. In today’s world, of Mass murders and senseless killings, multiple robberies and countless sinners; people are asking themselves who can I trust. People are afraid to sleep in their own homes , afraid to walk the streets in the old neighborhoods they grew up in as children: because they wonder whom can they trust. People today are fearful of being victims of some sinful and pathetic act that more often than not is executed by someone they called FRIEND. (REFER BACK TO THE TEXT). People are afraid to have friends anymore, because they simply don’t know whom they can trust. Everyday, someone falls prey to the sin sick parasites of our society. People loose their life savings and their lives because somebody wants something for nothing. ELABORATE ON: You can’t get something for nothing anymore. In order to get we must learn how to give. And always remember that nothing from nothing leaves nothing. But knowing all this there are some people who are too lazy to go out and get a J O B and go to work. We have a habit of wanting some one else to take care of us. And in reviewing this, you must ask yourself this question. Who can You trust? As Christians, we should be able to love one another. For Christ said Love Ye One Another as I have Loved You. And if we were doing just that we would be able to trust one another, and I believe that the world would be a better place in which we live. But who can we trust? Many of us outside the church are terrible enough. It’s sad to say that many of us good to do Christians can’t even get along in the Church let alone out side the Church. So who can we trust? Proverbs 28: 26 He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool. So who can we trust? In a world where man practices the first law of Nature daily. ( survival of the fittest ) Where man believes that it’s every man for himself and God for us all. Who can we trust? In a world where people are constantly Lying, Stealing, and Cheating their way through life. Who can we trust? In a world where men and women don’t even trust themselves. Who can we trust? In a world where life is so uncertain and friendship means nothing anymore. Who can we trust? In a world where man will tell you anything to get what he wants. In a world where a woman will do anything to get what she wants. God’s church in past time proved to be a good place of refuge. Those who want to be saved must believe and trust in God. Those of us today who want to be saved must decide on whom can we trust. Isaiah 50:10 says let us trust in the name of the Lord. You must decide for yourself to live and let live to trust God and stop going around smiling in one another's face and stabbing as soon as their backs are turned. Why don’t you live so that somebody can trust you? For I believe that in God’s house we ought to be able to trust one another we ought to be able to love another, we ought to care about one another, and we need to care for ourselves. I wonder if we can trust one another today? We ought to be able to trust ourselves to do A. Right. B. To support our church wholly and not partly. C. We must trust ourselves to get to the house of prayer in due time. D. To do what ever is necessary to keep peace and love amongst us. E. Not to forget that God is God alone, and that we should have no other before us. Who wouldn’t trust a God that can make a black cow eat green grass and give white milk.- Green watermelon produces Red meat and Black seeds. We need to learn to trust and depend on Jesus. We need to look unto the hills from whence cometh our help, for all our help cometh from the Lord. The text say’s trust not in a friend. But I can tell you that you can trust in the friendship of the Lord and Savior. You can trust him because God is real. You can trust him because every now and then he let’s you know he’s there because you can feel him deep down in your soul. Who can you trust? You may choose to trust in anything and everything, but it’s better to trust in the Lord. You can trust God anytime, anyplace, and anywhere. There is an old song that say’s you can call him in the morning, you can call him in the evening and you can call him late at night. You can trust God when you can’t even trust yourself. When we come to trust God you will know that he can make a way out of no way. When you trust him, you too will be able to say I’m happy with Jesus alone. When you come to trust him, you can echo the phrase I found all that I needed in the Lord. When you trust him you will be able to say I found A. Peace B. Joy C. Happiness D. Love E.
